Senator Hughes Budget Briefing

On Tuesday, March 21st at 8:15AM Pennsylvania State Senator Vincent Hughes, Democratic Minority Chair of the Senate Appropriations Committee, who represents Senate District 7, will give a budget briefing following Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro’s proposed budget address to members of the African American Chamber of Commerce for PA, NJ, & DE. This briefing will address key concerns and issues facing minority-owned businesses in the state of Pennsylvania. Topics of this briefing will include:

 
  • Key Investments in Businesses, Workers, and Communities
  • Workforce Training and Apprenticeship Program
  • Pennsylvania State Police Public Safety and Protection Fund
 

The AACC is committed to furthering the interests of businesses by responding to the needs of the business community and serving as an advocate for the purpose of increasing economic opportunities for the African-American community. As the leading advocate for Black-owned businesses in the Delaware Valley and Southeastern Pennsylvania region, we encourage our members to attend this event and hear from Senator Hughes.
