Public Buildings and Facilities Repair Improvements – RE-BID

New Castle County's Department of Public Works is seeking qualified general contractors to provide as-needed repairs and improvements to County-owned or managed buildings.

This is an opportunity for general contractors and specialty trade businesses to collaborate. Subcontracting is permitted.

Scope of Work

Contractors must be able to self-perform or subcontract at least six (6) of the following eight trades:

• Roofing replacement and repairs
• Structural repairs, including retaining walls
• Plumbing
• Hot water heater services
• Masonry and concrete work
• Carpentry and drywall
• Painting services
• Glass repair

Applicable New Castle County or Delaware state contractor licenses are required for roofing, structural, plumbing, hot water heater, and masonry/concrete work as specified in the solicitation.

Important: Bidders must identify at least six qualifying trades in their proposals. No pre-bid meeting is scheduled.
