Known for our pound cakes, Aunt Verlea's Pound Cake Experience, also known as Aunt Verlea's for short, is a black-owned, women-owned and family-owned mobile bakery and dessert company serving the Philadelphia area. We are best known for our pound cakes, but also get rave reviews about our various cakes, cobblers, and puddings.

Romona Mercer is the CEO of and Head Baker at Aunt Verlea's, which is named after her aunt, Aunt Vorley, who is one of her biggest inspirations and role models. Through Aunt Verlea's, Romona hopes to make customers smile!
